I my self have a child who is Autistic, and I know the struggle of having to care for a child who's delayed in speech and needing the extra time and patience to communicate with them. Every kid has their own way of communicating even if they are non verbal. It take time to understand how to adjust to their needs and patience to be able to help them the best that you can. Every situation, every day will be different but all you need is the ability and knowledge on how to work with a child with special needs.
