About Jessie

Empowering students to reach their full potential is the driving force behind my five years of tutoring experience. I specialize in English and Special Education for elementary and middle school students, creating an engaging, supportive, and patient environment where every learner feels valued. By breaking complex concepts into manageable steps and connecting lessons to your personal interests, I ensure that challenging topics become accessible. I adapt my methods through visual aids, hands-on activities, and open communication to suit your unique learning style. I prioritize regular check-ins with parents to build a collaborative foundation for success. Witnessing that "aha!" moment when a concept finally clicks remains the most rewarding part of my work. I am happy to meet you at the local library to begin our journey toward building your confidence and mastering new skills.
