Hi! My name is Jessie, and I am currently a Child Life Specialist working per diem at Rady Children's Hospital. A child life specialist works in pediatric hospitals and helps children and their families cope and understand their healthcare experience through child development theory and evidence-based interventions. I have my Master's degree in Human Development and Family Science with a concentration in child life. I recently finished the UCSD lactation consultant program and will be taking the IBCLC exam in April 2026. I would love to help a family out with a child who is 1 year or younger a couple times a week. If the parent is breastfeeding and has questions, I'm happy to offer advice.
