About Jessie

Hi! I'd describe my personality as energetic, patient, and innovative. I love tutoring because it gives me the opportunity to guide students on a path of growth and help them discover their potential. I'm looking for a role that allows me to support youth on their academic journey in meaningful and engaging ways. I began tutoring back in college, which led to a teaching career-and soon after, families began requesting tutoring support from me. Now, as a Boys & Girls Club Director, I continue to tutor as a passion. In my spare time, I enjoy kayaking, swimming, and-yes-tutoring! One thing you should know about me is that I believe learning should be fun. My strengths include progressive tutoring techniques, supporting students who are multiple grade levels behind, and using multi-tiered approaches to meet individual learning needs.
