Hi! I'm a dependable, energetic, patient, creative, pink haired parent of three aged 4- 19. I'm a sculptural artist and regular volunteer at Logan elementary. Prior to being a SAHP to my two youngest, I was in Social Work and ran a parent education program for 3 years, spent 10 years as an adoption worker for older children in foster care, and 8 working in preschools. With hundreds of hours of training in child development, I believe strongly in logical consequences and positive parenting techniques. I have experience and enjoy working with a wide range of children, from the educationally gifted to those with developmental delays, and have personal experience with parenting a child with food allergies and extreme medical needs. Maesie was wonderful. My son immediately bonded with her and their shared interests for animals (including dinosaurs). She has a background in childcare and art so the play was educational and creative! She also was happily available when we needed a last minute babysitter, which was a lifesaver! Would highly recommend.
