About Jessie

Currently in graduate school for social work, I believe very strongly in an individual's right to participate in their own life. I have strong communication skills and am a woman of many trades. I am capable of many different tasks from nutrition/cooking, cleaning, gardening, and routine household maintenance along with lending a hand to hold, a listening ear, and a lot of humor. I love animals. I am improvisational and think well on the spot. I have experience with elderly in many different environments. I took place in a pilot program at The Brigham and Women's hospital in Boston for patients who needed to be physically restrained, my job was to figure out how to cut down on the physical restraints of my assigned patient. Often times I found reading a favorite book, listening to many stories, helping them ambulate and orient themselves to their surroundings helped immensely and 95% of restraints were cut down.
