About Jessie

Hi! I'm Jessie-an experinced Second grade teacher who is passionate about helping young readers build strong foundational skills and confidence in reading. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education from The Ohio State University, as well as two master's degrees-one in Curriculum and Instruction and another in Technology Integration and Instructional Design. I am UFLI trained and professionally trained in Lexia LETRS. I bring several years of nanny and classroom experience and understand that every child learns to read at their own pace. My tutoring focuses on phonics and early reading skills for students in Kindergarten through second grade. I would love the opportunity to help your child strengthen their phonics skills and grow as a reader!
