About Jessie

Hello! My name is Jessie and I'm a recent graduate of Fordham University, with a BA in English and a minor in history. I have extensive experience caring for/handling animals, both professionally and personally. In my childhood home, I grew up with four cats and a large dog, all of whom I cleaned, groomed, fed, gave medication, etc. as necessary. I also volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I learned how to care for smaller mammals, birds, and reptiles. In high school and in college I was paid to dogsit and catsit, and am extremely knowledgeable as to the particulars of those animals' dietary needs, health symptoms, and more. Recently, I also rescued an injured pigeon and brought it to a wildlife center to be rehabilitated. I am able to navigate a variety of animal personality types, including more reactive or shy ones, and am physically fit enough to walk, jog, etc. with a variety of dog breeds.
