About Jessica

I am a conscientious, reliable and experienced PCA. My experience is extensive including home care and work in facilities. I am proficient with assisting in activities of daily life, hoyer lift and pivot transfers, g-tube feeding and many other caregiving tasks. I went to Horizon Health Care Institute in Florida where I received Certified Nurse Assistant training. For 8 years I worked providing care in the home for an ALS patient. And more recently I assisted a man with Parkinson's in his home. This position required me to work under complex circumstances and develop communication skills with a nonverbal person. My experience also includes working with people afflicted with Alzheimer's, MS, injuries and more. I've worked in both home care and nursing facilities. I am confident in my caregiving skills and it comes quite naturally to me. After raising 2 children my future goals include going back to school for a Nursing degree.
