I am currently a teacher in Philadelphia. Last year was my first year and I taught 3rd grade. This year I am teaching Kindergarten. I have over 10 years experience with children. I graduated from Philadelphia Biblical University with my Masters in Education in May 2009 and this is my second year as an elementary teacher, but prior to this I taught infants and toddlers in an early learning center for 5 years. I have also been a live-in nanny for 2 families and babysat for over a dozen other families over the last 10 years. I grew up on a dairy cow farm out in central Pa. I love to travel and have volunteered my time in orphanages in Mexico, Haiti, Bangladesh and Nepal. I have twin brothers with special needs. And I have a variety of experiences with all types of children.

Jessica was absolutely amazing! She cared for our 9 month old son while we were on vacation in DC. You could tell she had lots of experience with infants, she was very confident and knowledgeable about what our baby needed and what she needed to know to care for him. When we texted her asking how he was doing she responded in a timely manner and gave detailed updates. She was very sweet and loving and we felt very confident leaving our son with her. If we are ever in DC again I would absolutely hire her for care!
