About Jessica

A literacy mentor and background check through CCSD Recently returned from abroad for two months providing postpartum care for my daughter and grandson. I cherish having the skills and experience to be helpful in this capacity. I would like to use my skills to help families care for their needs. Such a joy to care for these precious souls. My background is in Social Work and working with women, teens and elders. I also have a lifetime of experience caring for animals, personally and as a vet tech. Caring for my younger family members began very early. At 12 I began caring for kids outside of the family. After my daughter's birth I nannied for another child 12hr a day through their first 3 years. Various childcare opportunities have continued over the years. I love the water/swimming/teaching kids to swim. Walking my dog on the beach is pure therapy I care for my 77 mother that lives with me. I'm skilled at attention to detail, time management, communication, and intuiting needs.
