About Jessica

I highly recommend Jessica! She has helped my family for three years with our two kids and that time, no doubt, left us all better off in these early phases of parenthood. She had been reliable and provided outstanding care. We met Jessica through Care.com and she started taking care of our first kid. When our second kid was born she continued to help us with the baby. Now it is the right time for our second to move to a daycare classroom setting, but otherwise we would absolutely continue working with Jessica. She is very knowledgeable about babies and children, and it is clear that she continues her own education proactively. She has been great about asking questions if there’s ever a lack of clarity on what we want for our kids, and in fact it has been nice to have her as a sounding board to ‘workshop’ solutions for difficult phases with our kids. Jessica keeps great records of our children’s feeding and diapers throughout the day, which was especially helpful for a bottle fed baby. Jessica consistently follows safety best practices on those most crucial things like safe sleep and transitioning to solid foods, all the way to small daily practices like remembering to apply sunscreen. I feel exceedingly safe leaving my young kids with her. In terms of helping our children learn and grow, I give Jessica lots of credit for aiding in their language development. She chatted with our baby constantly throughout the day, narrating what’s going on around them. She is endlessly patient through toddler tantrums or baby cries, and finds tactful, kid friendly ways to talk about their feelings. The best outcome you can hope for in your childcare is to find someone who genuinely cares about your kids, and I know that we found that in Jessica. She clearly prioritizes the children around her. People in my life have called her “a real-life Ms. Rachel” for the way she interacts with kids on their own level. Our family highly recommends Jessica and we are glad to answer any questions for prospective families interested in working with her in the future.
