I have tons of experience! I have been a lead teacher in a classroom of 2yo, infants, preschoolers & summer/after-school programs. In these classroom settings, I was responsible for creating an age appropriate curriculum and safe learning environments. I also have a ton of infant and toddler experience and I have also nannied, both long & short-term. I have many families I work for and have known for many years. I like to teach through fun and creative art, science & nature activities- & lots of reading! I believe in allowing children to learn through free play while being active in encouraging exploration and imaginative play. I know the importance of trying to maintain a schedule & I feel that communication between parents and caregivers is necessary for keeping consistency and important in creating trusting bonds with children, their family & their community. I also clean houses & have housekeeping exp! I enjoy helping my community in whatever ways I can to raise our future gen!

Jessica was amazing with all 4 of our kids, from infant to pre-teen! Very reliable and has a wide array of wonderful resources when it comes to the kids! We only wish we could have kept her as our nanny longer!

Jess cared for our child from the time I went back to work, when our baby was 7 months old. I went back to work at this time and had anxiety surrounding leaving our child with a caregiver. Jess has a calming presence and experience that quelled all of my anxieties. She was able to easily get him down for naps, and provided lots of guidance to us as new parents. Jess became a large part of our family and our baby loved her. She was creative with new activities and took time to help clean, organize, and has a good intuition for what children need. I always felt comfortable and confident leaving for work. We would highly recommend Jess to any family lucky enough to hire her!

After interviewing a handful of nannies, when I met Jessica, I tried to hire her on the spot. 

Unsurprisingly, she had a wait-list. Fortunately for us, we eventually made it to the top of the list, and I immediately saw why she is so sought after.

I wish that Jessica could be with my daughter and I for life! Not only does she have incredible childhood-development knowledge, and was able to help my daughter progress every day, but she also unexpectedly helped me with home organizing and management... which I didn't even realize I was struggling with due to depression and anxiety.

I find myself constantly telling Jess that she's the biggest blessing we could have ever wished for. As a single mom, I feel for the first time that I'm not in this alone.

Jessica is a really nice person and good with kids. We hired her for 3 days the first week and 2 days a few weeks later to cover school breaks and closings in December. She was not dependable for us and called out sick on a day each week we had hired her. We also weren't given much notice and therefore we couldn't find anyone to replace her and so we had to miss work.

Jessica watched our two kids for a couple days and was great!

Jessica was great for our date night sitting needs. We came in from out of town with our 8 month old baby and needed someone to watch her while we attended a family function for several hours. She shared regular updates on baby and was very flexible both for us and for baby's needs.

We hired Jessica on short notice to come in and help my wife, who couldn't pick up our baby due to a back injury. Jessica was responsive and friendly, provided good references and showed up on time. She jumped right in to caring for our son and obviously has a lot of experience with babies. Jessica was very helpful and compassionate and we would definitely like to work with her in the future. Jessica is great! She was a good fit for out 4 year old and 7 year old. She is both easy going and attentive with children. Also, she is responsive, easy to work with and punctual. We will hire her again.

We hired Jessica to help with my 3 and 5 year old daughters due to my husband having back problems. She watch our girls for only 2 weeks, but due to an unforeseen family emergency, we were unable to continue with her services. If we could have, we would have kept Jessica around for a long time! She's soft spoken, but knows what she's doing! Her teacher background and experience with kids shows! She's gentle and loving when things are going good but knows when and how to discipline very well! in just 2 weeks, she helped me organize so much too! Also, she's crafty, which was a huge plus for us :) I'd hire her back in a heartbeat if I had the means to do so! :D

I interviewed Jessica for a nanny position, and right from the beginning she was incredibly professional. She answered every email quickly and was so friendly! She is a joy to talk to. She was early to the actual interview and my son took to her instantly. She engaged him with toys and drawing and he had a great time. He fell asleep after that and Jessica stayed to help me tidy up. Jess is amazing, but in the end our schedules didn't work out. Whoever ends up hiring Miss Jessica will be a very lucky family!

Jessica also often thought up of fun & thoughtful crafts, worked with the boys on cleaning up after themselves, sharing & instituted a sticker reward chart. Her many years in early education also was great for sharing her past experiences and knowing how to communicate with a stubborn little boy who didn't know how to talk about his feelings.
        She went above and beyond our expectations for the job, often doing big cleaning and organizing projects that I found to be extremely helpful and appreciated.
Jessica became a real part of our family and we were sad to see her go. Unfortunately, our boys are both in school full days and we could no longer offer her enough hours. We would hire her back in a heartbeat is she moved back to our city.
