About Jessica

Nurturing children and supporting families is truly my passion. My approach is creative, friendly, and adaptable to each child's unique needs. I enjoy playing outdoors, board games, and educational games that make learning fun! I communicate with parents using their preferred method and always follow their lead when enforcing household rules. I am comfortable caring for more than one child and am happy to assist with light house work, carpooling and errands. I am a certified art teacher in New York State for grades k-12. I currently work with students in grades 7 through age 22 and have been in this position for the last 10 years. Before teaching I worked as an aide in an assisted living and dementia care facility for eight years. I am CPR/AED/first aid certified for infants, children and adults. I have two children of my own ages 2. 5 and 4. 5, and I am currently working on completing a course for an art therapy practitioner certification. I look forward to working with your family!
