About Jessica

My teaching experience began with my time at the University of Montana with three practicum blocks of Pre-K- 2nd, 3rd- 5th, and 6th- 8th, providing experience with each age demographic under my K-8 certificate. My student teaching followed with a split program, allowing me to teach a 4th/5th combo class in Montana as well as a 1st/2nd combo class in Quito, Ecuador. In returning from Ecuador, I nannied for a couple of families before moving to Bellingham, WA for a substitute teaching position. This position, followed by my involvement in a special education classroom, gave me teaching experience with a variety of ages and students of different backgrounds. As the year transitioned to summer, I took a private teaching job for a family in Jackson, WY. However, in the interest of continuing private tutoring in Washington I now look to you for a new opportunity to teach, which is where you come in. I hope to bring my passion of educating young people and my varied experience into your home.
