About Jessica

I am a wife and mom of two in search of some additional part-time work. Before having children, I took on a lot of work through care. com for many years. This included child care as a full time nanny for 3+ kids, pet care, house cleaning, and various odds and ends. It was my predominant job in high-school, college and beyond. I have been a stay at home mom since 2019 to my kids and run our household and small hobby farm, all of which are such a joy to me. In addition, I have worked part-time at a mortgage company as a processor/office administrator remotely since graduating from college with my business degree in 2016. The company I was previously employed at was small, family owned and is sadly no longer in business. I thoroughly enjoy being busy and active and am looking to replace the time I spent there with a job here through care. com. I love working with children and all things household organization. Jessica was super sweet and a hard worker. However, there were some discrepancies in availability and rates based on her profile and communication, and unfortunately she blindsided us by quitting a few weeks in for another position. She stated it was for more hours, schedule flexibility and higher pay, but we had continually offered her those things, even referred her to a good friend, and she had said she did not have the availability to add more hours or days to her schedule for us or them. We wish her well, but are disappointed with how things turned out.
