My name is Jessica. I am a young mom of a toddler son with one on the way and I've always had a passion for helping others. I just moved to Alabama from South Carolina where I was a Licensed practical nurse. Because states have different requirements I must complete some courses before my license will be transferred to Alabama so I am not technically a nurse here yet but have been in nursing for about 5 years. Most of my experience as a nurse has been in home health with medically complex children. Before my nursing career I had several years of nannying/babysitting experience including caring for young adults with Down syndrome. I am looking for a situation where I can continue caring for others which is what I love, and that will provide me with evening hours when my husband is home with our son. I enjoy getting to know and bonding with the individuals and families I care for which is why I have chosen home health in the past and why I'm looking for a similar situation.
