About Jessica

Jessica was SO amazing with our 13-month-old this month! She was incredibly warm, prompt and communicative, both in our interview calls and leading up to her arrival. We were hiring her to babysit in a hotel that we had never been to before while we attended a wedding nearby, and she was a total pro and so flexible with us about the setup. She came early to spend some time playing with the baby and getting to know him while we were still getting ready on site so he wouldn't be startled when we left, and he was so comfy by the time we did leave that he seemed to barely notice when we slipped away! He is a recent walker, can be a lazy eater, and is prone to running into mischief, and we hadn't had a real babysitter before for so many waking hours, so we were a little nervous. But she handled him like a pro all the way through bedtime with fun activities both indoors and outdoors, bringing other toys, books, and games to keep him engaged. She also soothed him even when he was a little unsettled being in a new environment and had an unexpected wakeup. She sent us updates with pictures while we were away but checked our preference for that with us first, which we really appreciated, so we were able to unplug and enjoy the evening with just enough info to be comforted. I would highly recommend hiring Jessica if she's in your area, and hope we'll have the opportunity to do so again!
