About Jessica

My passion is working with children. I believe teaching positive Reinforcement, natural consequences, and redirection are 3 major components for a child to succeed independently and flourish competently in a nurturing, safe, and caring environment. I also believe that children should have opportunities to explore ideas and interest by engaging in play. I pride myself for having supportive relationships with children and great communication with families. I have experience working with children 6 weeks- 12 years of age. I also have experience working with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. I am a lead teacher in a 2-3s classroom in Nob Hill Albuquerque. I am fully CPR/first aid certified as well as have my 45 hour early learning certificate and my child development certification. I am on my last semester in my associates and anticipate graduating this May, 2026.
