I worked at Lurie Children's Hospital in Chicago for 15 years as a nursing assistant and Spanish medical interpreter. I have been working with children since I was a teen, and I connect very well with them. I nannied for a family of three children for five years as well as for newborns and for children with many different types of disabilities. I have an associates degree in early childhood development as well as a bachelors degree in behavioral science. I love the energy of children and would take great care of your little ones.

We moved to Kihei in 2021 and didn’t know many people on island. We hired Jessie to take care of our 1 year old daughter, L, and she became like family to us. She quickly made us feel safe and has a great way of building trust with kids through play, listening, and explaining things in ways they can understand and relate to. Leila absolutely loves her and we’ve learned a lot from her as first time parents. Only reason she’s not with us full time anymore is because our work situations changed. We still hire her for date nights and so L can spend time with her.
