Hi there! I am a certified ELA teacher with extensive experience helping students improve reading comprehension, writing, and test performance, including SAT prep. I have a proven track record of strong academic growth and improved test scores across elementary, middle, and high school grade levels. My instruction is targeted and strategic - not generic homework help. I teach students how to break down complex texts, analyze questions, organize written responses, and build the skills required for school assessments and standardized tests. This approach helps students gain confidence, independence, and measurable results. I provide private tutoring as well as Step Up-approved instruction. Sessions are structured, goal-driven, and tailored to each student's needs, whether they are struggling readers, test-takers, or students who need stronger writing and analytical skills.
