About Jessica

Hi there! I am a certified special education teacher for grades 1-6 with a strong interest and background in early intervention. Though my degree is in elementary education, I have the most experience with babies and toddlers in both regular and special education environments. I have worked in various preschool rooms, daycares, been a homeschool teacher, and worked several nanny jobs where I was specifically hired for children who may have needed a little extra attention and care. I have a deep passion for working one on one with children; creating developmentally appropriate activities for their individual interests and helping them to succeed. I am currently available for early intervention services and tutoring with flexible hours. Jessica is family to us now. She worked with us taking care of our 5 and 7 year old for the last year. She is extremely caring and always wanting to do new things with the children. They would cook together go and research new ideas at the library and have play dates at the park. Always energetic and full of fun ideas the kids talk about her everyday and remember all the things she taught them. Many times I have been told that's not how Jessica does it. We miss her very much and highly recommend her as a babysitter/nanny.
