About Jessica

Fostering a child's growth and development is a true passion of mine. I bring a patient and calm, yet creative and imaginative approach to childcare. My background includes a degree in Recreational Therapy with almost 20 years in caring services ranging from CNA work with the elderly and infants to recreational therapy work for adolescents with SCIs as well as running a full adaptive recreation program for children with special needs. I also was a 3rd grade teacher assistant in college. I'm comfortable caring for one to two children at a time, and happy to engage in outdoor activities, board games, art, and educational activities. I'm also available to help with light housekeeping. I always follow a parent's preferred method, whether it's a quick chat at pickup or regular updates via text. I follow the parents' lead when it comes to enforcing household rules. I genuinely love children! And find joy in spending time with them.
