I have extensive experience as caretaker for my grandmother who had pancreatic cancer and my father who has just entered a nursing home for advanced Parkinson's. I'm very patient, am told I have an "old soul" and very much believe helping seniors maintain independence and their daily routine (with modifications), is the best form of "therapy". Engaging physically as well as intellectually and emotionally is a huge focus for me.
