About Jessica

I'm thoughtful, empathetic, and reliable. My grandparents lived a block away growing up and I spent most of my childhood with them, later helping with medical needs as their health declined, including in-home hospice for my grandfather. I've also worked in a group home caring for seniors and adults with disabilities, helping with meals, bathing, dressing, and medications. I believe seniors deserve consistent people in their lives, not just for care but for real companionship. I treat everyone I work with like family and I'm flexible enough to accommodate whatever a situation calls for. My background is in early childhood education and skills like patience and reading what someone needs translate naturally to caring for adults and seniors. In my free time I enjoy the outdoors, board games, reading, and cooking, and I bring that same warmth and curiosity into my caregiving. I want the people I care for to feel supported, respected, and genuinely looked after, not just cared for on paper.
