Hello, my name is Jess. I have 6 years of experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities. I am passionate about caring for those who are differently abled and advocating for those who can not advocate for themselves. I worked for a non-profit organization known as the Arc. I was a residence manager working for 5 women in their home. I was responsible for managing their finances, medication, schedules, daily goals, self care skills, community outings, transportation, and maintaining all household needs, including cleaning and cooking. I've found the most joy and meaning in caring for others. I am a mom of 4, and the most rewarding jobs are the ones that build connections with others fostered through compassion and emotional intelligence.
