I have hands-on, real world experience with autism, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, and mobility issues. I also have a special interest in PDA (pathological demand avoidance), and am continuing my education in that area of study. My niece is autistic, and was non-verbal for the first 3 years of her life. I wanted to be helpful, and was curious about the methods used to reach her, so I trained to become an ABA therapist. Although this position ultimately wasn't the right fit for me, I have the foundation to help your child if you are using ABA. I do not work with the local ARC association (Northwest Wayne County only), there is no need to contact me if that is your funding source.
