I have hands-on, practical experience with autism, sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, mobility issues, psychiatric disabilities, and dyslexia. I also have a special interest in pathological demand avoidance (PDA), resulting in continued education on the behavioral profile. My niece is autistic and was non-verbal for the first 3 years of her life. I wanted to help and was curious about the methods used to reach her, so I trained to become an ABA therapist. Although this position ultimately wasn't the right fit for me, I have the foundation to help your child if you are using ABA.
