About Jessicah

My name is Jessi. I have more than 25 years of nanny experience in a diverse range of settings with children of all ages and abilities (including multiples and children with special needs). As a licensed Certified Nurse Aide, my First Aid and CPR Certifications are current at all times. My desire is to teach, not just keep, the children that I work with. I believe that learning is most often accomplished through rich life experiences. I'm a fan of music, reading, outings in the park, crafts, and games that stretch the imagination. I excel at indoor fort building. I've also used my CNA in a skilled nursing facility and in private duty practice working with the elderly and adults who have disabilities. I genuinely love people and being a caretaker. I obtained a Master's degree in 2019, and the focus of my academic work surrounded persons experiencing homelessness and families facing food insecurity. I continue to do this work in a volunteer capacity. I also tutor ELA and writing.
