About Jessica

Hi! I'm Jess (she/her), a nurturing and experienced caregiver with 16+ years of working with children ages 5mo and up as a babysitter/nanny, dance teacher, and as both an outdoor and classroom educator. I'm currently a preschool teacher in the mornings and am looking for an afternoon nannying position. I'm also available for weekend and date-night babysitting. I'm a huge supporter of play-based learning and believe children thrive when they're free to explore, imagine, and learn at their own pace. I like to follow their lead, encourage curiosity, support their developmental needs, and promote their independence. Some of my favorite activities to do with kids are spending time in nature, arts and crafts, and cooking! My goal is to create a warm environment where children are safe, supported, and celebrated. In my free time, I enjoy gardening, cooking, spending time outdoors (especially at the beach), and knitting! I'd love to connect and see how I can support your family!
