About Jessica

I view children as independent, autonomous little humans, and strive to foster consent-based care and child-centered learning and play. My approach to childcare is Montessori-inspired, as I have been an administrator and substitute at a Montessori school for the past two years. I am passionate about racial & social justice, and have experience working with children (and parents!) of diverse identities, as well as children who have learning & emotional support needs. Outside of nannying, I hope to become a K-8 ESL teacher in the next few years. I live in Greenfield with my partner and our two cats, Lettuce and Zuma! I love cooking, gardening, reading, listening to records, and volunteering for a local books-to-prisoners organization. I am happy to provide references upon request.
