About Jessica

I view children as independent, autonomous little humans, and strive to foster consent-based care and child-centered learning and play. My approach to childcare is Montessori-inspired, as I had been an administrator and substitute at a Montessori school for two years. I am passionate about racial & social justice, and have experience working with children (and parents!) of diverse identities, as well as children who have learning & emotional support needs. Outside of nannying, I work as a public school ESL teacher. I have my license in PreK-6 ESL, but currently work with high schoolers.
