Hello! I have 19 yrs experience as a nanny as well as experience with special needs children (autism and cerebral palsy specifically). I've worked for families with up to 5 children of all ages, aged infant to teenager. Comfortable with housework, laundry, meals, homework, overnights, pets etc. I adore children and am excellent at multitasking. I never yell at the kids, we always discuss behavior if there is a problem. I find this works much better because children's feelings are just as valid as our own. I'm inclined towards art (my major in college), nature, reading, music, and enjoy one on one interaction more than a daycare setting. TV can be relaxing for kids, but by no means a babysitter, so I keep it minimal. Homework is done after school, and parents can expect as much as possible to be taken care of when they get home. I'm a non-smoker with my own transportation. I'd like to find a family to grow with and care for long term. Hope to hear from you!
