About Jessica

I was a volunteer and an intern at RISE during my last semester of college. I discovered how much I enjoyed being part of an all inclusive learning environment with traditional and non traditional learners in a classroom of 15 children. I loved documenting each child's growth/progression in all four developmental domains (physical, social/emotional, cognitive, language) I enjoyed creating and implementing lesson plans and modifying them to fit each child's learning needs. Being able to provide the teaching tools/strategies and motivation to help them succeed each day made me want to continue a career in this field. Seeing the excitement and readiness to learn on their faces made me love this job. I found my passion for working with children here. During the pandemic, I enjoyed working with several different families.
