About Jessica

Hi there! My name is Jess, and I am currently a third year student at Grand Canyon University pursuing dual degree in Elementary and Special education. My passion is helping children not just to learn, but thrive with a specific love for teaching, reading and literacy. I've spent over two decades, raising my own to adult children and working as a nanny, and I love bringing my classroom knowledge into the home. Whether it's helping with phonics or supporting, unique learning needs, I am dedicated to making every day an educational adventure. I have worked for Baltimore County public schools for the past three years as a teacher's assistant additional assistant one year working in second grade and two school years working in kindergarten. This school year I am working in the kindergarten classroom every Friday. I am also a huge animal lover, and happy to help with your pets!
