About Jessica

Hi, I'm Jessica, a certified Texas teacher (EC-6, ESL, Special Education, Gifted & Talented, Science of Teaching Reading) with a BA in Psychology from Texas State. I've taught in public and charter schools in the Austin area, most recently as a special education teacher in Round Rock ISD, and I've run YMCA school programs and worked as a counselor in multiple child care programs. I'm patient, calm, and structured, and I work best with elementary-age kids, including kids who learn differently or are learning English. I can help with homework, reading practice, games, and routines. I also offer one-on-one tutoring in reading, ESL, and special ed support for grades K-6, online on Mondays and Wednesdays. I also offer pet care for cats and dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, and check-ins while you're away. I'd be happy to set up a free 15-minute intro call.
