About Jessica

I'd describe my personality as bubbly, assertive, adaptable. I like working with kids because they are adaptable and have great potential to learn and grow, as they still see the world with some wonder. I'm looking for a job that is rewarding for both the family and myself. A good fit with similar values so we are working toward the same goals. I am a Christian and apply this to my daily life. I started working with kids when I was about 12. I had several babysitting jobs until I went to college. I raised 3 girls that are all in teaching and child care positions as adults now. I can relate to parental challenges and once relied on childcare for a time while I worked. In my spare time, I like to garden, cook, read, hike, and spend time with family & friends. One thing you should know about me is I take what I do seriously, but I like to have fun doing it. My skills include creative problem solving. Having follow through and consistency with an upbeat environment.
