Hi! My name is Jessica and I'm currently a sixth grade teacher. Previously, I taught second grade and was an intervention tutor for grades TK-3. I hold a Multiple Subjects Teaching Credential and I have my Masters of Education with an emphasis on SEL. I have enjoyed my job and want to help other students improve on their skills and fill gaps. This includes science based interventions for students needing support in mastering the skills and standards from the previous grade-levels as well as the ones that they are currently working on in their current grade-level. This also includes just help with their homework and studying for upcoming tests. I started working with kids when babysitting for friends and family members throughout high school and college. This continued when I became a substitute teacher and a tutor. Working with kids has continued into my career as an elementary school teacher. I love what I do!
