I'm a dementia care specialist for persons living with the disease and their family caregivers. I provide in-home safety assessments, caregiver support, and dementia coaching for caregivers. I also provide respite services. These services include engaging in dementia friendly activities and providing companionship. I am a liscensed master social work and have a PhD. My focus area for my PhD was dementia and family caregiving. I've published 20+ academic articles on dementia and caregiving. I currently work as a care navigator for patients living with dementia and their caregivers for the University of Colorado health system. I've been in this position for 4 years (work remotely). I also have personal experience as a family caregiver which is what sparked my passion in this area. I aim to be helpful support to you and to promote your loved one's quality of life.
