My passion is to enrich peoples lives and being a quality care provider. That led to my college direction to go with my major in Family Studies and Human Development at The University of Arizona. During that time in college I worked for a nanny agency caring for infants-teens, I realized I wanted more social interaction on an adult level. That is when my first job change was respite care for a home care agency, beginning my work in healthcare and special needs care. I have worked with elderly, adults with developmental disabilities and/or in crisis, adolescents with developmental disabilities and behavioral problems for 10yrs now. Jessica has truly been a blessing as companion care for my mother. From the first day we interviewed her, we knew that she was the right one. She cares for her own mother and just gets it. She understands through life experiences and her own family dynamic. She is conscientious, prompt and intuitive. She has been an answer to prayer in offsetting care for my 77 year old mother who had a stroke several years back and is homebound. Currently, 3 hours 2 days a week has worked out perfectly! She encourages movement and activity, helps with light housecleaning, and has taken my mom to the grocery store, too.
