About Jessica

I love working with kids because I believe in the importance of autonomy in childhood. I serve as a gentle guide, supporting children as they lead their own play and learning. I bring mindfulness into caregiving through nature-based activities, breathing exercises, and calming techniques to help them feel safe and emotionally balanced. My goal is to nurture joy, imagination, and confidence in everyday moments. I'm seeking a role that allows me to shape care around each child's needs and a family's values. My passion began at SDSU, where I shifted from anthropology to early childhood development, graduating with a 3. 8 GPA while working 44+ hours a week. I value deep connection, kindness, and patience in both personal and professional life. In my spare time, I enjoy nature, music, and mindfulness. Which keep me grounded and empathetic. My caregiving is rooted in understanding each child's individuality, ensuring they feel seen, inspired, and supported.
