About Jessica

With over 15 years of experience in childcare, I have worked with a wide range of children ages from infancy to tweens. I have a precocious 5-year-old daughter. We love to make art, make music, sing and dance. We also love to read together and do math for fun. Our house is full of fun things to do, pets to pet, nearby hiking trails, playground and the river to explore. Alternatively, I am also happy to work in your home and have reliable transportation. We are members at a club and love to go swimming. I hold a certification in lifeguarding including CPR and first aid. I hold an emergency teaching credential for substituting. I also have an Early Childhood Education associate degree. I am currently in school part-time working towards a master's degree in Speech Language Pathology. A few years ago, we hired Jessica, a wonderful babysitter/nanny who took care of our daughter from about age 1 to 3. She took great care of our daughter, befriended our not-easily-befriended rescue dog, and we often came home to our house being cleaner than when we had left it in the morning. Jessica is responsible, kind, and a joy to be around.
