About Jessica

I have a Bachelor's of Science and a Master's in Exceptional Student Education. I also have endorsements in Reading, Gifted Education, Autism, and ESL. I worked as an Elementary Special Education teacher in Pennsylvania for three years before transitioning into higher education for the last three years. I also worked as a special education intervention tutor for several years throughout college, and through summers during teaching. I also worked as summer school teacher. I am passionate about working with intervention groups, where I can identify students' needs and design engaging lessons that build on their prior knowledge and help them reach their goals. I enjoy tailoring lessons to individual interests and needs, using hands-on activities and visual aids to create an interactive learning experience. My goal is to equip students with the knowledge, strategies, and confidence to become independent learners!
