I am a Special Education Teacher with an emphasis in Severe Disabilities. I taught at the High School level in the Life Skills classroom during the pandemic. Therefore, I have experience with online and virtual learning due to COVID-19. Then I taught at an Elementary School in the Behavior Support Classroom for students. Finally, I taught at another Elementary School for students in the Essential Elements Classroom. Before I became a teacher, I was a paraprofessional in a Post High setting for one year and then at the Elementary setting for 3 years. I grew up babysitting/nannying for several families, including families with twins, both with disabilities and without disabilities.
