About Jessica

For the last decade, I have been helping students unlock their academic potential. I am a certified teacher with a graduate degree and a passion for Math, English, and Science. My core teaching philosophy centers on the belief that every student possesses unique potential and can thrive with personalized support. I achieve this by varying my teaching strategies and encouraging open communication. Connecting challenging topics to real-world examples is one way I keep students motivated. Regular updates keep parents informed and reinforce learning at home. Seeing a student's confidence blossom as they master new skills is the most rewarding aspect of tutoring. I am comfortable tutoring in person or online. I also speak Sign Language (ASL). I have CPR training and First Aid. I would love to help you or your student reach their goals!
