I have a great deal of experience working with children and adults with intellectual and physical disabilities. I have been a personal attendant and volunteered at hippotherapy classes, adults with disability dances, and Special Olympics competitions. In addition, I currently work at a child development center as an assistant teacher for 2-3-year-olds. Therefore, I have my CPR and First Aid licenses. I have a BA in Mass Communication - Public Relations and a minor in Communication Studies. I wanted to work in non-profits to help people with the skills I acquired (donor development, social media, marketing). Since my graduation in early 2012, I have been an event and media coordinator, social media manager, and I have done tech support. Though I enjoy doing that work, I am re-exploring my love for care giving again and enjoy it even more now.
