About Jess

Hi! My name is Jess, and I'm a senior at Indiana University, majoring in psychology with a Spanish minor, and I have a genuine love for working with children of all ages. I bring several years of hands-on childcare experience, most notably serving as a summer camp director, where I supervised staff, supported children's social, emotional, and behavioral needs, and communicated closely with families. In addition, I've worked as a preschool classroom assistant and as a counselor at an overnight sleep-away camp, giving me experience with children in both structured classroom settings and residential, home-like environments. I'm patient, reliable, and attentive, and I pride myself on creating a safe, positive space where kids feel comfortable and supported. I'm passionate about child development and hope to work with youth long-term, so I approach every caregiving role with responsibility, energy, and a lot of heart.
