About Jesse

I started caring for seniors in 2024, when my grandpa had to have reconstructive wrist surgery on both hands. My grandma was working full-time, so I assisted him with showers, meals, chopping wood, and physical rehabilitation. I found that I had a knack for the work, and though my grandpa was at first uncomfortable about some things, I believe a good sense of humor and awareness helped to make his year-long recovery a great memory for both of us. Afterward, I pursued senior care as a profession so I could help improve others' quality-of-life. I'm a big bookworm, so much of my spare time is spent reading. I play the mandolin fairly well, though I'm a middling piano player. I go backpacking and hiking every summer when the weather permits, and I have three cats whom I pamper far too much. They don't seem to think so, of course.
