About Jesse

Hi! I'm Jesse. I've worked with families since my early twenties. Initially, I began babysitting as a way to work "from home" while my children were young. My care was informed by attachment and gentle parenting, as well as Waldorf and Montessori pedagogical perspectives. Next, I trained as a full spectrum doula, focusing specifically on the vulnerable postpartum "fourth trimester". After this, I took some time off to focus on homeschooling my own children, and then to become a gestational carrier (surrogate). Then, I returned to work as a Waldorf kindergarten teacher and as a substitute teacher for my local school district; I also briefly took on a role supporting families and students working with international au pairs. Finally, I've worked as a Family Support Specialist and Newborn Navigator for a Family Resource Center for the last four years. My varied roles have provided a truly unique perspective in supporting both the whole family and the children in my care.
