About Jess

Hi, I'm Jess! I just graduated as a Doctor of Physical Therapy and am just working a little while I study for boards and await my license. (NOT applying as a PT, just a helper/caregiver). I have lots of experience through my clinical rotations working with people of all ages, ability, and mobility levels. I've worked in inpatient acute rehab with primarily older adults after a stroke and with many older patients in the outpatient setting (after joint replacements, arthritis, general deconditioning, chronic pain, cardiovascular conditions etc.). I've also worked older populations as a yoga instructor. I'm very compassionate and attuned to people's needs and am good at adjusting my approach to need those needs. I'm a great motivator when appropriate (huge advocate for staying active in whatever capacity a person is able) but can also provide quiet companionship if that is what they need.
