Rate: $30/hour

American Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) Infant CPR certified 

When I care for your little ones, screen time takes a back seat. My priority is hands-on, engaging, and nurturing care, treating your child with the attention they deserve. 

I am available as an evening or weekend sitter for occasional or recurring assignments.

My baby warmed up to Jess almost immediately. It’s clear she has a lot of experience keeping children happy and safe. 

Jess arrived a few minutes early. Had great communication. Our sitter we had initially booked cancelled last minute and she stepped up and made herself available. Would use her again!

It was our first time using a babysitter for our baby and Jess immediately put us at ease. She asked questions about everything she needed to know and we left knowing he was in capable hands. Jess was quick to respond when organizing the date and we'll happily be booking her again.

Jessica was great! She was communicative and kind. Very good with our 19 month old son. He had a blast and she texted us with updates. I would highly recommend booking her! 

I am writing this review to eliminate any doubt that might arise about Jess’s work ethic. An unknown person recently posted a negative review on her profile page and Care.com has not removed it yet. 

Jess has worked with our family for 2 years. There are few caregivers as conscientious and responsible, who also genuinely love spending time with children. Jess IS that person. 

I hired Jess to help us at night after we brought our newborn home from the hospital. She was incredibly reliable, patient and knowledgeable. Highly recommend her. 

Jess canceled at the last minute — about an hour before her agreed-upon 7pm arrival time — because she decided that she did not want to take the 30-minute subway to our home in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn, despite having known our address for weeks in advance. I even offered to pay for her to take a ride service to our address. Yet she declined to respond -- just ghosted us, causing us to miss our engagement. Very disappointing. 

We hired Jessica for a non conventional Nannie role, needing some assistance on a film set with a number of babies. She was fantastic from start to finish, SO helpful for nervous Mothers and a slipped easily into the groove of being on set whilst taking excellent care of the babies. Would absolutely book again, and you should too!

Jess is incredibly nice and wonderful! She watched my dog Ruby and took amazing care of her! Ruby had the best time and I plan on using Jess again to watch Ruby! Additionally I will be having Jess watch my 4 month old daughter for date nights 

Jess was wonderful with our 7.5 month old son! She played with him very intelligently, and she was knowledgeable about the stage he’s in (teething, learning to sit up, pre crawling etc). She did bedtime and put him to sleep easily, which has been a struggle for us at the moment. We would recommend her & look forward to having her back! 

Jessica has been amazing with our little 5 month boy. She's calm, punctual, sweet and caring and he seems to love her! Jessica is discrete and reliable and very understanding with a first-time mom like myself. I would definitely recommend her to another family.

From the first moment I met Jessica I thought she was an honest and kind person, she has been reliable and punctual. She also communicates well with me. She is very helpful to my three kids of different ages. Even look after them when I'm not at home. Highly recommend her.

Jes came to watch our 3 kids while we were in New York City visiting. She was on time. The kids immediately started playing with her. She kept us posted through texts so I didn't have to worry !

Jes was easy to communicate with in advance of her child care visit. She was great with our four month twins, helping with feeding and playtime.

Working with Jessica was  a seamless experience from beginning to end. She was professional, clear in communication and respectful of our approach as parents. We had to stay late for a special occasion and she was extremely accommodating. We will definitely hire her again

Jes is a very thoughtful, friendly, attuned and proactive caregiver. My 17 month old son warmed up to her right away and she made everyone feel at ease. She is communicative and dependable and we are thankful that we found her.

Jessica was fantastic. We had a video chat interview before I hired her for a sitting job. She instantly put me at ease. She has wonderful experience, and an amazing calm and confident way with the children. We have two (they are 4.5 and 1.5 years old) and she came in seamlessly, which allowed us to have a fun night away without worrying. Gave us updates as the night progressed as well. We are planning on hiring her on a more regular basis moving forward! Oh and she's good with dogs too. :)

Jes was fantastic - can't say enough good things about her.  We hired her to help watch our third child Margot in the afternoons, starting when she was a few months old.  She was absolutely wonderful with Margot.  But more than that, she ended up building such wonderful relationships with our two older children as well.  She's incredibly warm and caring, and so wonderful with children.  She even provided extra help on things like math and reading with our older ones.  She was always dependable, and we trusted her completely to take the best care of our children.
