Hi! 

My name is Jessa and I am a first grade teacher in Key West. Working with kids has been a passion of mine since I was little! I have been babysitting for over 10 years and I was a nanny to 3 little boys for the four years I was attending college. I have had the opportunity to work for many different families, ranging from 1 child to some with 5 children. Not only was I a nanny during my college years, but I also worked for the Disney Hotels on my free days. 

I received my Bachelors degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Central Florida and am currently working toward my Masters degree in Elementary Education. When I'm on break from school I love to travel! Last year I spent the year teaching in Nicaragua and loved getting to know the people and culture and learned so much throughout that experience. I am happy to be back in my hometown for a while now and spend my free days relaxing by the ocean or pool with a book in my hand.

Jessa was wonderful! She watched our 6 month old for 2 nights when we were in town for a wedding. She was communicative, friendly and immediately made us feel at ease - it was our first time ever leaving him with someone other than family. Would absolutely hire her again next time we are in Key West!

Jessa was fabulous! We hired her to watch our 2 year old while we were on vacation in the Keys. She was amazing with him and instantly made us feel comfortable leaving her in the hotel with him. I just wish she lived closer to us!

Jessa took care of our 6 week old baby for an afternoon. she arrived on time and seemed like a caring , well balanced young lady. I immediately felt comfortable leaving her with our baby. and everything went great.

Jessa was great with my two boys while we were on vacation. We had two nights of wedding events that were not kid friendly, and she was able to work with our schedule. She was quick to reply to messages, and made it very comfortable to have her come to our vacation rental. When she arrived, she immediately connected with my sons, making it easy for my husband and I to leave the house with an easy transition. Jessa would be my first choice if I needed child care again in Key West!

Jessa was absolutely perfect! We felt that we could trust her from the moment we met her. She was extremely reliable, and flexible when we pushed the time back for her babysitting a few times. Would definitely recommend Jessa!

I was looking for a sitter for my two children while on vacation. Jessa looked like a winner as far as choosing. Her schedule was open on the app and we followed the proper channels to try to book her for three nights. I had made several attempts over a week span to contact Jessa, but she never even responded. Every other sitter responded to me in a short time frame if they were avail, but still nothing from Jessa. In fact, here we are sitting at almost a week, and nothing from her at all. Not even a simple I am sorry or I am booked. For some one so highly rated, it was very unprofessional in my opinion. It looked like she would have been a great choice, but anyone who doesn't routinely check messages or check alerts for an organization that depends on messaging and alerts, should probably not belong to care.com and therefore not be dependable to watch my children. Feeling very disappointed. I get that life changes, and people maybe stop watching children or change jobs, then please change your profile or remove yourself from care.com so us parents don't stress on vacation while waiting. Thank you.

We hired Jessa to care for our 4 month old daughter while on vacation in Key West. It was our first time using a babysitter on vacation so we were a little nervous, particularly as our baby can be a little fussy when around new people.  The moment we met Jessa we and our baby couldn't have been more comfortable.  She's clearly responsible, experienced, and has a wonderful personality.  We would love to hire her again and wished we could bring her back to New York with us!  

Jessa was the first person we ever left our 2 month old baby girl with while we were on vacation and she made us feel so comfortable in doing so! Jessa was very sweet and the perfect person to watch over our baby girl. We only wish she lived closer so we could have her all the time! 

Jessa babysat for our 2.5 year old daughter whilst we were in Key West on vacation. She was really personable, put us at ease immediately and our daughter loved her. 

We would definitely ask her to help us again in the future and thank her for being so great with Francesca!

We hired Jessa for two nights of baby sitting to look after 4 kids while on vacation in Key West with our friends. Jessa is a 5 start child care provider. She was on time, great with the kids and they were all sound asleep when we got home. We absolutely recommend Jessa and hope to be able to work with her again next time we are in Key West.

We had Jessa watch our infant daughter when on vacation in Key West from NYC. Prior to our trip we spoke with Jessa on the phone and email. She was excellent at communicating, punctual, and overall just awesome. Our daughter was happy in her care and we will use her again for future Key West trips. She is flexible should travel plans or times change. We cannot recommend her enough. She is also a teacher, grew up in Key West, and baby-sat on Disney properties. Point being, she is highly qualified to watch your child(ren). You'll be happy you chose her : )

Jessa was wonderful. Very kind and attentive. My children adored her! She was great. I wish I could bring her to New York! 

Amazing babysitter! I can't rave enough about how wonderful she is!! Both my kids (daughter 2 and a half and son who is 10 months) loved her! She's sweet, energetic, and has a nice charm about her. I highly recommend her to anyone needing services in the Keys! Thanks Jessa for making our vacation so much better!

This was my first time using Care to find a sitter, and I was very lucky to have found Jessa!!! My 5 year old absolutely loves her, and continues to ask when she will be coming back! She's very reliable,  and trustworthy. Great attitude, fun and friendly! She's worked for us multiple times now, and I feel more than comfortable with her.
